The end of summer is approaching (omg finally!) and in the Stone roundhouse, things continue to be chaotic.
Karn likes the outdoors, so is generally happy bug hunting... except when he gets attacked by bees.
Storm continues to be an excellent hands-on father, teaching Berry to walk
Meanwhile Rabbit has taken over a lot of the heavier jobs in the family, so his parents can concentrate on the younger kids. Having worked up a good amount of body skill on the throwing axes, he's ready to tackle this tree. Garan stands by with advice.
and it's down! Now comes the mammoth task of chopping it up.
Meanwhile, Fox prefers to assist the tribe by fishing. In his underwear. This kid loves hanging out in his underwear. This fish is nearly as big as him.
There's another baby on the way! This will probably be the last for Talia, as she's almost out of her child-bearing years.
It's another girl. This one is named Amber. Karn seems pretty excited at the prospect of another younger sister.
Rabbit continues chopping wood... and we'll leave him there while we pop over to the Garan lot.
The lot where Garan lives is a lot more serene. Garan spends his days hunting and growing vegetables.
While Reya continues to practice the craft of basketweaving.
This time she's made a skep. Talk of bees has made this couple think they could possibly add honey to their list of produce, so Garan sets out to capture the wild hive that has been attacking the tribe and populates the skep.
Reya teaches Rain to talk
I love family dinner shots. And I love this house. It's very compact, but it works well.
Baby Shadow grows up into a toddler
And Rain grows into a very sullen looking child. He has Reya's sad-mouth.
Time to start earning your keep, Rain.
Comical break in immersion. I have no vaguely-period-appropriate gym wear for kids, which is sad. But anyway, it turns out that Rain likes fitness.
Baby time again - it never stops, I swear...
Oh. Well, say goodbye to this lot being serene, I guess. Welcome to twins Eri and Gant.
